The 8-day Kenya safari takes you to visit Hell’s Gate, Lake Nakuru, and Maasai Mara. In Lake Nakuru, you enjoy the fabulous water birds and other bird species. The best place to view the birds is from Baboon Cliff, where you get an excellent view over the lake and the wonderful spectacle of pink flamingos along its edge.

The 8 days Kenya safari tour further takes you to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve which is one of the best places in Africa for wildlife viewing. Finally, you can relax and enjoy 3 days in Mombasa with amazing landscapes.

Day 1: Pick up and drive to Nairobi/Hells Gate

Start the amazing Kenya safari tour by a pick up from the airport and drive to Lake Naivasha with a stop by Hell’s Gate. The park, which is mainly, comprised of the savannah ecosystem harbors a wide variety of wildlife. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux’s Eagles, augur buzzard and swifts. African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, and baboons are also easy to spot. The park is also home to the klipspringer antelope.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Nakuru for further Kenya Safari enjoyment

Early morning pick up then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, across the equator, southwards of Bogoria, lies the rift valleys most famous lake Nakuru. Known all over the world for its flamingos, it’s alkaline and is recognized as being one of the natural marvels of the world. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingoes, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times there may be almost 2million flamingoes in the residence, forming a stunningly striking deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive to discover various wildlife in Lake Nakuru National Park.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara

An early morning drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve, it holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras and attendant predators. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive as you explore the vast wildebeests, African Big 5 and much more wildlife. Always remember, your Kenya safari tour is incomplete without a visit to Masai Mara. Retire from the marvelous game drive and proceed to your favorite lodge for dinner, relaxation, and overnight.

Day 4: Further exploration of the Maasai Mara

After breakfast, we have a full day game drive, with packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-manned lion, as well as its abundant resident wildlife and its one of the few places where it’s possible to see the big five during a morning’s game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under one’s vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagle, plus many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks 4 of bustard (including the Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds.

Day 5: Drive from Maasai Mara to Mombasa

We wake up at 6 am and enjoy your breakfast as we evacuate the stunning Masai Mara with a sunrise game drive and then depart for Mombasa for further days of relaxed, memorable and fun-filled vacation with amazing landscapes & views. Lunch en-route and in the afternoon flight from Nairobi to Mombasa.

If you choose to transfer by road, we shall take a direct transfer right from Masai Mara to Mombasa. This is a long drive, so prepare for it. On arrival, check-in, relax and prepare for tomorrow’s activities.

Day 6-7: Enjoy your stay in Mombasa

Take a deep breath and pamper yourself with a relaxing stay at the beach: a quiet place, of crystalline turquoise water, white sand and huge seashore with only the noise of the sea and the gulls in the background. This place has become popular for its exotic beaches, diverse marine life, world-class hotels, and friendly people. Nightlife is always exciting, and the City offers many dance clubs and casinos that cater to a variety of entertainment tastes.

Day 8: Mombasa to Nairobi

You can spend the last hours of your journey to relax. After you will have a transfer to Mombasa airport for domestic flight back to Nairobi.

Best time to visit Kenya

Kenya is open all-year-long, the best wildlife viewing months in Kenya are during the Dry season from late June to October.

The wildebeest migration usually reaches the Masai Mara in August and remains until October when they move back to the Serengeti in Tanzania.

 June to October –Dry Season. Wildlife is easier to spot.

July to October are the best months to see the wildebeest migration It gets very busy and crowded in the most popular parks.

November to May –Wet Season

The scenery is beautiful and green Rates drop because it’s the low season.
