Overview

Kenya tour package visiting great Masai Mara game reserve and Lake Nakuru, Amboseli and Tsavo West national parks. The destinations are Class a Kenya national parks and game reserve offering excellent opportunities to see the Big five, awesome scenery, wonderful bird life and close people and local cultural encounters.

DAY 1: Transfer from Nairobi-Masai Mara

Leave Nairobi in the morning and drive to the view point of the great rift valley, descend the escarpment and a stopover at Narok for lunch, then arrive to Masai Mara at the afternoon, followed by early evening game drive in Maasai Mara which is famous for its black manned lions and yearly migration of wildebeests, dinner and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 2: Wildlife exploration in Masai Mara – full day

After breakfast a full day spent game viewing across the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. Picnic lunch in the park. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara Early Game Drive and (Optional Hot Air Balloon)

On this day have an Optional, Hot air Balloon Otherwise, wake up and have Breakfast, Set out for an early morning game drive in the reserve. This is usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hour’s temperatures are low, thus providing a favorable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer, Lion, Cheetah and Leopard roam the vast grasslands in search for their next meal, it may be an unsuspecting impala or even a small one like the warthog. Whatever the players, the spectacle of nature unfolding is always awe inspiring. We then head Back at the camp, enjoy your sumptuous breakfast. Then a Full day game drive. You will have your morning game drive when getting out of the national Park, With Lunch, en route.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Nakuru

After early breakfast depart for a morning game drive in the reserve, en-route to the gate. Drive a western direction. As you ascend the eastern wall of the rift Valley, lush coffee and tea plantations reveal themselves and your driver-guides will give you a brief talk about coffee farming in Kenya. You will be driven to lake Nakuru targeting lunch on the way or at your expected Lodge depending on time covered. In the afternoon you check in into your accommodation and relax as you get ready for the next day’s expedition. Dinner and Overnight in Nakuru.

Day 5: Nakuru Early Game Drive

After Breakfast, you will leave the campsite in Nakuru for the game drive in the park, in search for the big five animals i.e. lion, rhino, leopard and cheetah and more other animals. Lake Nakuru is famous for its millions of flamingoes and migrant birds from over the world, in Nakuru we have up to 425 different bird species. You will leave back to the Hotel before dark for your dinner and overnight. – Dinner in the hotel.

Day 6: Transfer from Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, morning game drive to Lake Nakuru National Park where you are going to see a lot of flamingoes and other birds. You also have a chance to see the black and white rhino. After you depart to Amboseli via Nairobi with picnic lunch arriving Amboseli in the evening. If time permits you can have game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp

DAY 7: Wildlife tour in Amboseli National Park

Pre-morning game drive to see the view of Kilimanjaro and big elephants, lions’ zebras and after breakfast proceed for another game drive before you break for lunch. After lunch another game drive until evening. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 8: Transfer to Nairobi after an early morning game drive

Early morning game drive and after breakfast drive back to Nairobi.

Best time to visit Kenya

Kenya is open all-year-long, the best wildlife viewing months in Kenya are during the Dry season from late June to October.

The wildebeest migration usually reaches the Masai Mara in August and remains until October when they move back to the Serengeti in Tanzania.

 June to October –Dry Season. Wildlife is easier to spot.

July to October are the best months to see the wildebeest migration It gets very busy and crowded in the most popular parks.

November to May –Wet Season

The scenery is beautiful and green Rates drop because it’s the low season.
